Shree Jalaram Mandir
With the blessings of Pujya Jalaram Bapa and utmost devotion of hundreds of worshipers Shree Jalaram Mandir organization was established in 2008 in the Northwest suburb of Hoffman Estates, IL. It has flourished as one of the busiest religious institutions in the Chicagoland area. Since its inception, the Mandir is making a significant progress and has become a major place of worship for devotees from all around the Chicagoland area and surrounding states. In addition to the regular worship of Pujya Jalaram Bapa on every Thursday evening, all major Hindu religious festivals and events are celebrated with greater joy and enthusiasm.
The Mandir facility was an originally a church when the trustees decided to buy the same at the cost of $1.25 Mil. Since then, a lot of improvements to the existing facility were done including placement of Gods pictures for daily worship and religious activities. From a small parking lot of 42 spaces, an expanded new parking lot of 120 spaces was constructed for the convenience of devotees. Also, many additions were done inside and outside of the building including the major expansion project at the expenditure of $3.2 Million.
Finally, time has come to install the idols of Gods and perform the grand ceremony of “Murti Pran Pratishtha”. This most important ritual has been scheduled in July starting with a “108 Kundi Shubh-Sankalp Yagna” on Saturday, July 2nd 2016 followed with Murti Pran Pratishtha four days vidhi from July 6th to July 9th 2016. The idols are specially made by expert Shilpkars from Jaipur and are beautifully carved from Makrana marble stones. As a part of this grand celebration, Shrimad Bhagvat Katha has been arranged from Sunday, August 7th to 14th 2016 at Shree Jalaram Mandir. The Katha will be narrated by the internationally renowned spiritual leader Pujya Shri Rameshbhai Oza (Pujya Bhaishri).
Mahaprasad will be served daily and necessary arrangements to accommodate visitors have been undertaken by the governing board of Shree Jalaram Mandir.
